Multicultural or Racist Emojis

Let's inject race into Emojis! What could go wrong?

In a most bizarre rambling video DNews has ever done they talk about injecting race into a non-race sensitive communication to celebrate multiculturalism to make race less significant. What what? Racialising a neuter technology makes it less racist?

This will provide so much food for the trolls they will bloat our data streams.

Now the wrong person using the wrong emoji can be called racist.

We live in such a comfort zone we are designing ways to detect racism in the way you type. We are demanding you all be sheeple less be called racist or sexist.

I'll say it. I'm racist if it means I'm okay if I'm white. I don't really care what race you are but I'm okay with being white. Racism seems to now mean you can't like being white.

I'm also a male and I am good with that. And somehow that make me sexist in the trill chatter of today's language.

So we will now take one of the inert communications where we exchange ideas and insert race. The sex will follow, right?

So all of this coming together equally we will find ways to pollute the exchange of nothing but ideas with our race and sex to taint the quality of the idea?

You all just freaking SUCK!

Making the Absurd Hilarious

When the POTUS' official YouTube channel has a video that likens voting for the first time to losing your virginity you just can not believe the absurdity of it. How on earth do you parody this? When the POTUS talks about women as if they only care about reproduction and lady parts the video watches like a dry wit dig at him.

TokenLibertarianGirl (Julie Borowski) has upped the absurdity and has made the following hilarious spoof:

Just in case you missed it, here is the gross video from the POTUS:

Government Contest to Create a Sexist and Racist App

Reducing Cancer Among Women of Color App Challenge

That is the app contest in which there is $100,000 in prize money.

From the HHS post:
“This app challenge is an example of our work to reduce health disparities, building on the HHS Action Plan to Reduce Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities,” said J. Nadine Gracia, M.D., M.S.C.E., acting deputy assistant secretary for minority health.
Since there is a disparity among white women and ethnic women in cancer prevention and treatment, Health and Human Services want an app just for ethnic women. Forget about raising health standards for all women, or all people, but spend money on just a portion of the people.

Reeks of the concept of "fairness." Equal outcome, not equal opportunity. Will there be a $100,000 contest for white women or ethnic men or white men? Spend the same amount of money on all groups? Wouldn't that be fair? Or do we dump money on isolated groups, no matter how much it is, till everyone has an equal survival rate?

This is the new institutional racism under the banner of fairness and equal outcome.

One of the conditions of the app is it must be multilingual. Basically, make sure people that have not assimilated to the American culture by learning English can still use the app. Can't help but hear a "dog whistle" in that requirement.

***sigh***

I just don't have the energy to fully and properly complain about this app and the goals of the agency. Not to mention some of the potential security issues like the downloading of medical files and information. Isn't that just what you want on your smart phone if it is stolen?

Where is the sanity check on these things?

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Promotes Substance Over Style

Wow. I actually have something in common with Debbie Wasserman Schultz. We both think that your elected candidate should support your political issues. I don't think it is good enough to get a Republican in office if they are a RINO. Wasserman doesn't think it is good enough to get a woman in office unless they support the Democrats agenda.

You can disagree with her politics all you want, but at least she is sticking to her principles. Would she come out and say the same thing about getting a black person or a latino in office? I hope so. Otherwise it is shallow to praise voting for someone just because of their gender or race.

The grant is about greenhouse gasses resulting from the production of nitrogen in fertilizer and how unused nitrogen in run-off enters the environment. Warmer weather is GOOD for plants. CO2 is good for plants. Nitrogen is 78+% of the atmosphere. WTF is this really for?

Green Energy is Sexist

The cartoon would be much more funny if it were not true. Unfortunately what is in the cartoon is the very first line from a blog entry by the Energy Department.
To tackle the economic and energy challenges of the 21st century we need more women at the table.
According to this blog, that is why the DoE launched the Clean Energy Education and Empowerment (C3E) Initiative.

C3E believes there needs to be more women in the clean/green energy industry. They are disappointed by the low numbers of women involved in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Maybe they can nip this in the bud and force more women to major in these subjects instead of "Women's Studies." Irony.

The C3E does have statistics on its side:
There is also a business case for gender diversity; studies show that organizations’ outcomes qualitatively improve when the leadership is composed of at least 30 percent of each gender.
If you set up a company be sure you have 30% men, 30% women, 30% hermaphrodite, and the final 10% what-ever. Because it you want to be successful in green energy too many trouser snakes is sure to hinder innovation. Crotch flowers will help your clean energy business bloom.

Gendercide is not a "War on Women," but banning it is

Sometimes there are subjects you don't want to write about. They are slightly disturbing and you don't know how anyone can find them acceptable or even a human right. And then Shelia Jackson Lee opens up her big fat mouth and the stupid that pours forth just astounds you and you have to call it out.

Abortion is a horrible thing and it is used as contraception out of convenience. This week gave rise to the issue of gendercide via abortion when the Republicans introduced a bill to stop it. The bill was put up to a vote under a suspension of House Rules which meant that it needed a two thirds majority instead of a simple majority to pass.

This was obviously done to embarrass Democrats on their abortion policy. However, at the same time it shows that if the Republicans were serious about this issue they would have let it go through the normal process and it probably would have passed. Instead they played politics and gendercide wins the day.

Good job Republicans. Do you feel proud of yourselves? It is like you are joining Democrats in killing unborn females. *** clap clap clappity clap ***

Planned Parenthood's PR campaign claims that they are against gendercide. But we have videos that show that this government funded project and beacon of human rights for women but not babies supported by the Democrats is just paying lip service to the public[1][2][3].
Aside from the gendercide issue of the said bill, it also would outlaw abortion based on the race of the unborn baby[1][2]. Basically, no racist abortions.

And then the stupidity train comes to town.

Shelia Jackson Lee, what say you about stopping gendercide and racist abortions?
Was that hard to listen to and follow? Here is a transcript:
Thomas: Congress woman, it is good to have you here this morning. Groups that track this sort of thing say evidence of abortions based on the predicted se... predicted sex of the fetus, they're limited, they're also inconclusive. So, why do you think Republicans are bringing this bill up now?

Shelia: Well Thomas, I think that the next act will be dragging women out of uh patient rooms into the streets uh and screaming over their uh bodies as they uh dragged out of getting access to women's health care. Uh, that is what I feel like uh is occurring today uh with the uh legislation that is on the floor.

Thomas, first of all, uh, there is bipartisan ehe unilateral unanimous that we should not have agenda based abortions for the sake of getting one gender over another. Uh, that is a human and humane humanitarian issue that none of us quarrel with.

PRENDA of course starting out by being the Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglas already provocative in trying to racially profile ... this bill uh is a direct intrusion into the relationship between patient and physician. We realize that uh there is a suggestion that cultures around the world do this. But in order to change those cultures, this legislation will not work. What you really need is an affirmation of the value of women. And today PRENDA is an affirmation of the devaluing of women, because what it does is it demonizes the physician and the women, particularly here in the United States, and it suggests, uh it puts on them, the idear that they're going in to have an abortion for a dastardly reason other than the choice, uh and the uh personal needs uh and the uh the faith conversation and medicacal needs of that particular patient.

This is a Draconian drastic initiative and frankly it should go down today.

Thomas: Congresswoman, this bill comes as though a time where Planned Parenthood is fighting back against a hidden camera sting campaign that attempted to show Planned Parenthood accepted sex selection abortions. They went to clinics in your home state where Planned Parenthood right now the funding is in limbo. Eh is this all about the ongoing battle to defund Planned Parenthood which this week launched that ad campaign in several states that's targeting Mitt Romney o' or is or is this something else or is this strictly about trying to strip away the funding that goes to Planned Parenthood?

Shelia: Well you know, the women in Texas are particularly victims. I would answer this Thomas and say it's the world. It's the holistic approach of coming after women.

Uh, the uh, the decision u'by the court uh in uh Texas and the federal court has as you well know enjoined the state its ridiculous approach of denying uh the funding to unaffiliated clinics for Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood is of course fighting for its life, uh but it is an institution that has served women for years. So I think it is a combination of the whole global approach in the United States by the Republicans to go after women and to bring up this heinous bill which, as I said, no one, I have been an advocate against in opposing forced abortions in China. So obviously, I believe in a different approach.

But I can not, at in any way, find in this bill, any legitimacy, by a criminalizing incarcerating doctors. We're going back to the days of oh uh coat hangers. That's what they want to do. They want to criminalize doctors because what that says is how do you know that a doctor is engaged in helping a woman abort because of the particular gender of the fetus?

And so, the only way you do that is you get into the minds of those, so I would imply say, simply say to you, the bill should go down. We need to reinforce the value of women. Educate people about the value of girls and boys. And join in with the human family and stop condemning, a women's right to choose.

Stop having this war on women.

Thomas: Congress woman Shelia Jackson Lee. Thank you for this time this morning. I appreciate it.

Shelia: Thank you for having me.

Thomas: Absolutely.
There is soooooooooo much to make fun of here. However, I want to make this simple.

Shelia agrees that gender based abortions are wrong. However, a law to oppose them is "draconian."

Yes. Shelia Jackson Lee said that opposing killing a fetus because it is a girl is "draconian."

How many more "draconian" measures can you find?

Too Easy

Once again MoveOn.org is an easy target.

I know it is supposed to be an amusing faux flow chart, but let's be honest. Whenever a conservative, or a white person, or a man, or even a gainfully employed person makes a joke that touches on a social-economical issue there just may be a flurry of outrage broadcast through the media. But here it is. MoveOn.org posts a racist, sexist, class-warfare flowchart for voting.
I find the fact that this is found at GOPHypocrisy on facebook is even more amusing since the hypocrisy is on the other foot.

Wussies

So how wussified are people now? Something they would have laughed at 6 months ago they are now offended by. What are they offended by? Funny washing instructions. Some people would say sexist.

The tag on a pair of trousers gives the cleaning instructions and concludes with "or give it to your woman. It's her job."

I am not going to link to a photo of the label. You can find that yourself. Instead, I will link to this exact same thing that has been happening and we have been laughing at. Why? Because it is amusing. Until we come up with a "funny" or "sarcasm" font, some people might need to try to develop a sense of humor.
