Warm your triggers

Thank the founders for the second amendment. Guns are not for hunting but putting down oppressive government officials.

Scalia put forth how wrong the decision of the SCOTUS decision on the ACA was in regards to reimbursements. Basically SCOTUS invented a new intention even though the word of law and initial intentions were noting of the sort.

Two insanely bad things happened today. Both violate the contract between the government and the people.

First, the law was not enforced as written.

Second, the decision bypassed the power of Congress and their responsibility of the purse strings by passing funding for this illegal contraption to other non-elected bodies.

Slide your finger from safe guard to the trigger.

Why we don't need the Second Amendment

We have the Second Amendment to provide protection against the government if it raises arms against the people.

Hasn't that been happening?

So many government agencies now have their own police force; this means the agencies have arms. People worry about the NSA collecting meta data but when is the last time you heard of them kicking in an American's door and arresting them? None. However, the Bureau of Land Management had no problem invading Bundy's ranch and killing his cows over a tax dispute. Why not a court order? The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service raided Gibson Guitars over what wood they were using which in the end was shown they did nothing wrong. Couldn't they have sent in an inspector instead of a raiding force?

The point is arms are being raised against the people and that is only two simple examples. However the military is not raising arms against the people but faceless bureaucracies are doing so. This is why people don't recognize the violation for what it is.

We have had the Supreme Court deem it is okay for the government to take your land for financial improvement for the common good and also deem that we can be taxed for our mere existence through the Affordable Care Act.

We are also victims of Congress trying to legislate physics. Fuel efficiency in cars and pollution control causes the design of smaller and or lighter cars that are less safe regardless of their safety features. Incandescent light bulbs were not made illegal by name but made illegal by defining how much energy can be used per lumen. As a result you get bulbs with poisonous mercury or a really expensive LED bulb.

So why do you so love the Second Amendment? Where are the bodies showing you've stood up for your rights? Work within the system you say? Really? The oppression through agencies and regulations are from unelected officials you can not depose. You didn't vote in those judges nor can you kick them out using the system.

We do have elected Congressmen that have passed oppressive laws (A.C.A., light bulbs). Why are they still in power? Is that your version of working within the system?

Recently Gruber, an architect of the A.C.A., said that a tortured language, lack of transparency, and lies were need to pass the A.C.A. because the public were to stupid to approve something he thought was good for them. He's right; you are stupid.

There it is. It has been exposed that for the government to tax you for your existence they had to lie to you because you are too stupid to make decisions for yourselves.

So why are you so attached to the Second Amendment? I see no bodies proving your affection for it. All we get are crazies going into gun free zone and killing innocents; the result is a call for more gun control and you go nuts.

Where are the bodies of those that legislate away your freedoms?

Huh?

I thought so.

You are never going to exercise your Second Amendment rights because as Gruber said you are too stupid.

Our lives are so comfortable that no one wants to rock the boat. People are picked off here and there by the government and there are no repercussions.

Why are you so insatiable for a right you don't want to exercise?

Baiting the Cops or Harassment?

So Jeff (RantWithJeff) had a colourful response to Michigan cops reacting to some men exercising their right to open-carry.

This is the video he reacted to:

So do you think they were baiting the cops or was this harassment?

YeeHa! Texas!

I am now in Texas!

My move is complete, but the unpacking is not.

What a beautiful place.

So, yeah. It is hot, but it is better than too cold.

Love the people.

The wild-life is awesome. Well, by wild-life I mean regularly encounterable critters. In this case, lizards, birds, and bats.

Back in Atlanta all I saw was a lone bat circling my local area. In Texas where I work, during window cleaning, the bats were disturbed enough I could see a dozen in the parking garage; many circled our building during the day during the cleaning. Near where I live is a location to buy tickets for a comfortable seating to watch thousands of bats emerge at dusk from a hollow. The nearby river-walk also is quite a spetacle.

Upon my return from the market on my first shopping day with an initial load of staples I set my bags down inside my door-wall. I went and gathered the rest of my pack and set those down too. I picked up the first bag I intended to unload and saw something scurry from its place to an adjacent bag.

All I thought was "Crap! A roach."

I shifted and lifted bag after bag while I shooed the critter into the open. Once I was successful I found it was not a roach but a small, (baby?), gecko. This gorgeous lizard that back in Michigan that would fetch from $20 to $100 just waltzed into my abode.

If intelligent design is true, then Jim Henson was an angel birthed upon the earth; he designed the gecko before that. The gecko looks like a muppet; it is so muppet like it is surprising it does not talk.

I bet Henson created the Platypus on a bet too.

I've seen anoles scurrying around outside my place. In fact, I have seen the most brilliant green borne by an anole crawling up the outside of my building with a tail that transitioned from green to brown to black like he was a lit candle blown out after a few seconds. However, the anoles are like willow o' the wisp and scurry the closer you come towards them.

At work vultures and birds of prey perch and saunter about the buildings edge. These creatures can take a perception that birds are fragile creatures and twist them into beasts to fear. They sport a mass to be reckoned with.

Texas.

I have come home.

Five Ranchers You Have Not Heard About

Some people have mixed feelings about what happened at the Bundy Ranch. Some feel part of it was Bundy's problem since he didn't pay grazing fees. From here on the arguments and little details go on for a while. One thing is for sure and that is that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) overreacted to the situation.

Even though Bundy might be in the wrong a bit, I'm okay with that because the government is in the wrong a lot. This push against the government is good even if done in a not so kosher manner.

If you play by the rules you might get trampled because the government does not play by the rules. Five ranchers are being trampled on in South Dakota[1][2]. It's not the BLM this time but the Department of Game, Fish and Parks of South Dakota. Still, totally wrong.

These five ranchers have land that had, I repeat "had," a railway running though it. The land has been owned by their families but easement laws allowed some of it to be used for the railroad. So the tracks eventually closed and the railroad gave it back to South Dakota, except these are easements, not possessions. The railroad cannot give the land to anyone. Under South Dakota law the land goes back to the original owners once the easement is void which is the ranchers.

What actually happened was the state took the land and turned it into a scenic trail. It is now a 109 mile trail cutting through five ranchers' lands. The government has made a regulation no motorized vehicles can go on the trail. So now there is a line on their land the ranchers can not cross; a line that was illegal by state law to be made in the first place. A scenic trail is a piss poor use of easement laws.

In short the ranchers can not cross this line because of beautification, at least that is what I read "scenic trail" as meaning. We are not even talking about an endangered species anymore. Ranchers' way of living is threatened just so things can be prettier.

Are you kidding me!? This is why we should start breaking the rules because the rules are stupid. The rules are anti-human. Thank the founders for the Second Amendment. An aerobic exorcise of it might force the government to obey the law too.

So for now enjoy Joe giving a critique of the Bundy Ranch incident.

Has Obama Become Prolife?

At first glance of this post on Obama's site I thought Obama was becoming prolife!

Wrong! That is an antigun post.

Diminishing your ability to protect yourself is a way to save your life. No one is harmed by abortion.

There are people that believe it too. Sigh.

Still on the Rails

Eventually Jor jumps off the rails, except, well... this time he sees the destination. His thought is not tangent but online with what the current misdirection is.

Financial Assault

One of the weapons wielded against terrorism is financial assault. Once a terrorist's or a terrorist cell's bank account is discovered the assets are frozen. Lack of assets makes it difficult to purchase the necessary materials to meet the desired ends.

But what if a bank independently decided to do this? What if it wasn't against terrorists but businesses that they didn't like?

Well, this has happened. Bank of America has decided that they do not like gun manufacturers and decided to freeze the accounts of American Spirit Arms.

Can you see the havoc this nation is descending into? When the tax policies and the forced purchasing of insurance becomes an incentive to lie about profits, when arms manufacturers are pushed into a cash only situation, can you not see the formula for "Going Galt" taking place? Is it not the logical conclusion?

Guns are EVIL! Please don't look at the data!

Every time there is a shooting the press and politicians freak out about guns. Should we let a sensational event override a sobering look at data?

His math is not perfect. The violent crimes are down 49% and murders down 49.5% in the U.S. since 1992. Basically about 50% as he stated.

Other than that, spot on.

Bring a Gun to a Racist Knife Fight

"You killed my people!"

Customer purchases a knife at a store. He then takes it to the entrance of the store and starts stabbing people. A man with a gun stops him without shooting. The knife-man gave up his weapon.
We have no mention of race. We do know that all involved are males in their 30s or 40s.

Now for some wonderful politically correct insanity. A quote from the story:
Police say right now they have no idea what caused the suspect to go on the dangerous rampage.
Really!? The criminal was yelling "you killed my people!"

Last weeks theatre shooting was random and motive was the criminal is a nut job. This crime the criminal was screaming why he was doing it!

Last weeks theatre shooting might have been cut short if someone had a gun. This one was cut short because someone had a gun.

Unless we find out that the attacker was the same race as the victims we know the motive. If the attacker is the same race, then this is another crazy random nut-job.

I say 99% chance there is a racial difference.

Anyone want to play a game and guess the race of the attacker?

UPDATE

Turns out this is an old story. It is from April. I am one of the many people who followed a tip from Drudge Report.

What is really amazing though is that there is no follow up to this story that I can find. What was the motive? What is the race of the attacker and victims?

Media is even more silent on this story than I ever thought!
