Government Promotes Boring Food

Thank goodness most people don't read government websites. Otherwise people would be planning some really disappointing picnics.

But this is how I view it.

No red meat!? Really. No burgers or hot dogs.

No apple pie.

Apple and tuna, but no apple pie.

Is this a communist picnic?

State Burns Kids

"RantWithJeff" took me by surprise. I hadn't heard about this story yet.

So this was pretty darn stupid.

• School policy, no hats.
• State/school district policy, no sunscreen without a doctor's note.

Two sisters were so badly sunburned they had to go to the hospital. To compound the problem, one of the sisters has a form of albinism.

Can you see a problem with government getting involved in health care?
