Yeah. No thanks. Mantyhose at e-mancipate.net. Maybe e-masculate and e-ffeminate was too straight forward. But as of this posting they are available!

AP Touts Movie Stars as Political Verification
As the Breitbart movement pushes against the slant of the MSM, the MSM media pushes back. The Associate Press reports that what makes a presidential candidate is movie stars. It is not the support of the public or constituents that vote; it is not the candidate's ideas, ideals, or voting record; it is not even as shallow as a candidate's charisma. It is movie stars.
Some of the dumbest people in the public eye are being promoted as the most important to politics.
This is line one of paragraph one of the story :
Newt Gingrich
Continue with the Breitbart movement. Hit the MSM and don't let Hollywood influence you. Document and show their insanity.
By the way, best line in the story had to be a total flub on the author's part:

No presidential candidate worth his chauffeured SUV has reached his personal zenith without this: celebrities to vouch for them. After this statement the article goes on to describe how stars attract attention to a campaign, and then the name dropping begins. Here is a chronicle of this amazingly critical reporting of who the celebrities support:
Newt Gingrich
- Chuck Norris
- Jeff Foxworthy
- Kid Rock
- Gene Simmons
- Dave Mustaine
- Jim Bob Duggar
- Michelle Duggar
- Josh Duggar
- Kelly Clarkson

- Oliver Stone

- Vince Vaughn
- Joe Rogan
- Jesse Ventura
- Tyler Perry
- Cee Lo Green
- Oprah Winfrey
- Tom Hanks
- George Clooney
- Will Smith
- Magic Johnson
- Antonio Banderas
- Robert De Niro
- Foo Fighters
- Jim Belushi

On Friday, Obama was on a furious fundraising pace, hitting five events in two cities in one day and raising at least $4.8 million.Did your brain say "Fast and Furious fundraising" too? Ouch!

Hill Street Blues
"‘Oregonian’ editor, 63, dies after sex with 23-year-old"
For some reason this article flooded my mind with the episode of "Hill Street Blues" when Sgt. Phil Esterhaus died making love to his wife. I also reflected back because when "Hill Street Blues" first aired I was preteens. I remember I really liked the show, but what was a kid my age doing watching that show?
Bob Caldwell, the room temperature senior of interest, was cheating on his wife. So do not romanticize the situation. However, here is the scene that announces Sgt. Phil Esterhaus passing.
There is another scene that I cannot seem to find. If my memory serves me correctly, later in this episode Renko asks if the Sergeant "died in the saddle." If you can find that scene online, please comment with the link.

How did that happen?
I haven't worn a shirt all day. Warm and lazy. But I have belly-button lint. Huh?

One Day Vegan
Dear PETA,
I am not totally adverse to your ideals, but your methods have been extreme. I do not wish pain upon other living things, but I must eat. Upon the concept of nutrition I will close this paragraph.
I just posted about how PETA provided New Jersey with toilet paper. That is a wonderful civic duty. You are to be commended.
Even though I do not live in New Jersey, I feel it is only right to take a day as a vegan. You did something honourable and I will not let it go unrecognised. I hope others do too.
I would like to express a bit about local gravity. After 9/11 I joined the Army. I expected that I would kill people. I ended up in intelligence and provided information that could kill people. Regardless, my intentions were I would, will, and did kill people. A person like that doesn't give two shakes over an animal if he is willing to smite a fellow. Hence I will always be an omnivore without guilt.
One day. I step away from my precepts to honor yours.

Kudos PETA
As an omnivore, I am adverse to PETA. But I must compliment a point well played.
New Jersey's capital city had a budget crisis and could not afford toilet paper. PETA stepped in and will provide toilet paper for six months as long as it is printed with a PETA message.
If you are a Muslim, this story may make no sense to you. Let me explain. Westerners do not touch our own poo. We use toilet paper and wipe poo off our posterior. We do not touch our poo.
Muslims ... go on back to your civilized suicide bombings.

"Siri"ous Trouble
Someone is suing Apple because they feel that what is portrayed in Apple commercials is "fiction." This person cannot seem to get Siri to work or behave like in the commercials.
Apple. Don't worry about that.
Someday you will be implicated in covering up a murder.

Perspective
A story like this should make you realize, or at least understand, what true oppression of women is.
A sixteen year old girl in Morrocco committed suicide because she didn't want to marry her rapist. A man 10 years older than the girl he raped had a choice, jail or marry the girl.
Why would he have a choice to marry the girl? It would keep her honor in tact.
Women in the U.S. understand oppression. They have to fight to get contraception for free. Well, they can get free contraception from clinics or planned parenthood, but they have to fight to get their own insurance to provide free contraception. Barbaric, isn't it?
Note that it is not barbaric that the government tells you that you must buy a certain product or go to jail. That is compassionate.
