"Everybody Dies" is not only an awesome album^[1][2][3] from an awesome 80s-90s band, but a truth of life ( and death ).

Death is not so scary if you do not know "when" or "how," mostly. Old age can bring on acceptance or even expectation as to the "when." "How" can be a bit more scary; the "C" word seems to be scary at any age. If you were told you would probably die by going to sleep, you probably wouldn't worry.

Soothsayers have predicted millions or billions of deaths due to an oncoming ice age, global warming, acid rain, CFCs, over population, and more; we still moved on. The predictions of death from the Corona Virus has been less than those, but we are suddenly now ready to be scared. Is this because we know the "how" and the "when" is sooner than desired? You know you're going to die no matter what, right?

Are you enjoying your unemployment? Are you comforted by your tower of toilet paper? Do you feel safer doing nothing?

Over 90% of workplace deaths are men; no one seems to be concerned about that. A higher percentage of deaths due to the Corona Virus are men, the aged, and the sick waiting to die. Why are we worrying about losing the most disposable?

If the death count is boosted by the disposables, you can scare the secure into the illusion of being insecure.

Now is the time to press against authoritarianism.

If the government is letting criminals out of jail worried about the spreading of the virus, why are they jailing/arresting people for simply leaving their home? If leaving home is exposure, what does throwing them in the clink do?

Never underestimate the power of bureaucratic stupidity.

If we lost 50% of the population, most of it would be congested cities. So what? The rural people that produce our food, mine the coal, and drill our oil, are more removed and less at risk ( except for the 90%+ male deaths in the workplace ). What do you city people produce? Pithy commentaries, games, and websites?

End the quarantine. The predictions never reached close to 50% reduction of the population which would leave 3 billion people on Earth; 3 billion of the most resilient people would forge a strong future. The predictions actually forecast a larger hearty population.
